Students experiencing homelessness face chronic absenteeism at nearly twice the rate of their peers. This session equips McKinney-Vento liaisons with evidence-based strategies and practical tools to improve attendance. Participants will explore root causes, examine successful models, hear from students with lived experience, and develop tools to create actionable implementation plans with your district team.


 By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:


  • Explore root causes of chronic absenteeism

  • Identify components of successful attendance models

  • Develop tools to create actionable attendance improvement plans for your students.
