Students who transfer schools often do worse in school than those who don't transfer. The McKinney-Vento Act can help solve this problem by allowing students to stay in the same school and get free transportation.

Please note: In an effort to expand participation and customize webinars by region, webinars offered during the same week will be divided into two groups: New York City (NYC) and New York State (NYS, outside NYC) While much of the content of the webinars will be the same, some of the regulations and topics will be area-specific. Please sign up for the webinar date that corresponds to your regional area (New York City or New York State). If you can not make the webinar date for your regional area, you may sign up for the other webinar, although it may contain some information not relevant to your region. Please do not sign up for both dates.
